Refund and cancellation policy

Scope

This policy covers fees for introductory proposals, fixed-scope succession engagements, facilitation series, readiness programmes, and governance workshops described on this site. We do not sell physical products, software licences, or event tickets to the general public.

Deposit

A 40% deposit confirms your booking and reserves adviser time. Deposits are refundable in full if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the first scheduled discovery interview or workshop day. Cancellations inside 14 days forfeit the deposit, because preparation work has usually begun.

Full refunds

You may receive a full refund of sums paid (including deposit) if we cancel the engagement for reasons within our control and we cannot offer a suitable alternative date within 60 days. If we have not started discovery and you cancel outside the 14-day window above, unused fees are refunded in full.

Partial refunds

If an engagement is cancelled after discovery interviews have occurred but before working sessions, we retain a fair portion reflecting work already completed (typically the deposit) and refund the remainder of sums paid. After working sessions begin, fees for completed stages are non-refundable; unused later stages may be refunded or credited by written agreement.

Non-refundable items

• Travel or overnight costs already incurred with your approval
• Third-party venue hire booked at your request
• Time spent briefing your solicitor or accountant after you asked us to proceed

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a workshop or working session once without charge if you give at least seven days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of £150 to cover diary disruption. Repeated no-shows may be treated as cancellation of that stage.

No-shows

If key family participants fail to attend a confirmed session without notice, that session is charged as delivered. We will offer one replacement slot within 30 days where diaries allow; additional replacements are quoted separately.

Work already started

Draft succession plans, readiness reports, and decision logs produced before cancellation remain billable. You may keep copies already delivered; we are not obliged to complete unfinished sections after cancellation.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@logicmodulecore.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm the refund decision within five working days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 working days of approval.

Cooling-off for consumers

If you engage us as a consumer (rare for company succession work) and the contract is distance-made, statutory cooling-off rights may apply unless you asked us to start within the cooling-off period and acknowledged that right would be lost for work performed.
